The global human right organization, Amnesty International had in a letter signed by the Secretary General of Amnesty International, Salil Shetti expressed immense gratitude to Omotola for her good works in Africa and around the world.
Amnesty International described the Nigerian Star Actress, ‘Omosexy’ as she is sometimes called as a staunch advocate for Amnesty International’s campaigns, and further expressed gratitude for her commitment and willingness to associate her public successes and name with the cause of Amnesty International.
Salil Shetti also solicited for continuity in their collaboration with Omotola Ekeinde Jeladi in mobilizing the humanity in everyone through Amnesty.
The Secretary General, Salil Shetti wrote, “I’m writing to thank you for taking injustice personally and for your ongoing support for Amnesty International and our efforts to strengthen human rights in Africa and around the world. You have been a staunch advocate for Amnesty International’s campaigns and I am personally grateful for your commitment and willingness to associate your name and public success with our cause.
